Senior Consultant
Newly arrived, Gayle Ronan joins HLB with over 20
years of business experience, most of it spent analyzing and writing about
trends across industries and business environments.
Along the way, Gayle has also been a provider of financial services and
been involved in developing and enacting marketing strategies for delivering
those services.
During the last several years as a freelance
journalist and regular contributor regarding practice management issues to such
publications as Bloomberg Wealth Manager, TICKER, and Registered
Rep—and real estate and small business issues for CNBC.com—she
has kept a uniquely experienced eye on current business trends and furthering
the education of consumers, small business owners and financial professionals
alike while examining best practices and pitfalls across topics.
Curiosity has led her to report on such diverse topics as how the
Internet is changing the way property is bought and sold, combating business
risks faced by small business owners and on socially responsible investing.
Her objective through it all: bringing greater
understanding of complex or lesser-known but vital issues to readers in the most
interesting way possible.
Among Gayle’s other accomplishments:
- Producing a number of for-profit conferences for
firms such as the Institute for International Research on topics varying
from trends in retirement benefits management for corporate plan sponsors to
the evolving state of the telecommunications industry.
- Ghostwriting a series of continuing education
books for financial professionals.
- Developing website content for a major accounting
firm to promote their venture capital consulting expertise to entrepreneurs.
In addition to working for several Chicago area
banks and investment advisory firms where she gained significant experience
developing client and corporate strategies, including brochure and product
design, Gayle has also been involved in marketing and research activities for
Greenwich Associates. She is a
graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Economics and possesses an
intense curiosity for finding answers and solutions that span industries and
subjects.
