Development of Client Knowledge-sharing Conference
Harris Bank wanted to transform its annual Shareholder Services client conference into a polished, knowledge-sharing event, positioning itself as an expert in the shareholder services industry and as an innovative partner committed to client service.
An interactive theme was developed to illustrate Harris's commitment to client partnership and open communication. The program was expanded to two days from one, adding a trade show, high-level keynote presentation, tour and general orientation that spotlighted various aspects of Harris' operation and showcased Harris executives as experts in their field. Results included:
- Receiving higher ratings from attendees than any previous conference
- Effectively conveying the message that Harris has the technology to make the jobs of clients easier, that they are valuable business partners
- Positioning Harris as committed to building relationships with their clients, and to helping clients build relationships with their shareholders
- Ranking of newly added keynote presentation as top session of conference
